Papa's Favorite Cookie Crisps

1 cup butter

2 eggs

1 box (light)brown sugar

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. soda

3 1/2 cup flour

1 cup chopped walnuts

Sift together salt, soda,& flour. (set aside)

Cream butter & sugar.

Add eggs, beat well one at a time.

Add dry mix slowly.

Add nuts & mix well.

Form cylinders.

Wrap in wax paper.

Freeze.

Cut thin (very thin) while frozen, and bake at 375 on greased cookie sheet, till done...
