Caring for House Plants?

I love houseplants. Do you love houseplants?
I even give mine names to make them feel at home.
I always have music going so I can enjoy it and they say that plants love it.
Of course, I've never had a plant talk back to me, but I have had house plants that grew like there was no tomorrow. I love it when they do that, don't you?

However, there have been times when I've gotten a new house plant and no matter how much I did my best to help them flourish, they didn't.

I figured I probably needed to know more about the proper kind of plant care for that particular plant. Which is always a great idea when you don't know much about any particular plant. Knowing how to properly care for a plant makes a big difference in the lifespan of a plant as well as how lovely it is while surviving and thriving, whether it features beautiful leaves or flowers.

My grandmother had a green thumb, and one of my brothers did too, heck they could throw the cuttings off a rose, down on the ground, after its been pruned and it would start growing. I wish I could do that with roses, don't you?
